Seed Coalition needed a visual brand identity that reflects their values and honors their campus work.

As the National Campus Compact dissolved their affiliate model, the Iowa & Minnesota chapter was faced the opportunity to redefine their identity while recommitting to the vision and values that have guided their work for the past 30 years.

Through heavy collaboration, 818 helped them dig into the heart of the organization to develop a brand identity that would demonstrate their values and honors the work being done on their campuses. From this process, Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact emerged as Seed Coalition.

 From the carefully considered name to the new logo and refreshed visual brand, Seed (Strengthening Education for an Engaged Democracy) Coalition lies at the nexus of their midwest roots and their mission of “planting seeds” of change by preparing students  to become engaged citizens.
